You might have heard about the new Laneige Lip Glowy Balm. The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask was the first in the line, and has almost 200k “loves” on Sephora’s website. Their super popular lip mask got a new sibling! This new balm is a lighter option to that favorite. I saw Maggie MacDonald show it on Instagram and knew I needed it! I also need everything she ever shows haha

I don’t have the lip mask because I have the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask, which is amazing! I love it for winter months or at night for extra hydration.

I wanted something lighter for summer during the day. This lip balm is exactly that! I got the pear scent and it’s just enough without being overpowering. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants overall hydration as well as shine! It seriously doubles as the prettiest lip gloss ever! It has a pretty thin consistency and is not sticky at all.

In terms of actual lipsticks and products with more color in them- here are my favorites!

I love the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipstick! Such a long name lol it’s just a gorgeous, comfortable lipstick. My favorite color is number 44. I got the one with little hearts on it, so cute but literally no different than the normal product! I also love MAC’s lipsticks. My personal favorite is Really Me- and when I was linking products for this post I basically discovered that they don’t make it anymore! I can’t find it anywhere, so I’m assuming that’s the case. It’s the prettiest pink/nude with a bit of a grey undertone, which I love! (who else likes cool toned pinks?) So crazy that it’s nowhere to be found anymore! But some other favorites are Whirl, Modesty, Faux and (for summer) Coral Bliss!

Lastly, you’re probably wondering what my favorite drugstore lip products are! Let me tell you, the drugstore has some STUNNERS for lip options and they’re just as good as the expensive ones. My favorite drugstore lip gloss for years has been the NYX Butter Gloss. I personally love Creme Brûlée and Eclair! They’re very smooth, smell amazing and are super cheap! They are so easy to just throw on and not have to think about. They seem way more expensive than they are based on how they feel. My other favorites are from Maybelline. I think they make some of the best drugstore lipsticks! Emily Gemma- one of my favorite bloggers!- talked about Baddest Biege 050 and I had to get my hands on it. It’s the prettiest, glossy nude. Another favorite of mine is a matte called Daringly Nude 655.
